MAKEUP ARTIST AND VISUAL ARTIST
Obsessed with all things beauty, fashion and art, Melissa Musseau is a skillful artist working in an array of mediums. Makeup always being at the forefront of her passions, she travels around the world for editorial photoshoots and her clients.
Melissa’s admiration for art and film led her to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, graduating with a BFA in Film, Video and New Media.
Melissa has worked on award winning photoshoots including, Goldwell Colorzoom, Pivot Point International and the North American Hairstyling Awards. Most recently, she was nominated by The Professional Beauty Association for Makeup Artist of The Year 2021 and worked on several upcoming television shows including The Chi, Lightyears, Paper Girls and Surina and Mel.
With a love of teamwork and collaboration, Melissa draws inspiration from her friendships and longtime advocacy of the LGBTQ+ community. Her work spans from the inspiring mural on Chicago’s Howard Brown Center, “The Love I Vibrate” to teaching transformative makeup artistry classes to members of the queer community.
Above all, Melissa believes in artists supporting artists and making her clients artistic dreams a reality.
